Shalom hopes to sign a peace treaty with Lebanon

Sylvan Shalom wants to sign a peace treaty with Lebanon to occupy it!!

What about the occupation of the Golan Heights and all of Palestine??

As Arabs of Tunis said: "we shall not allow Sharon to step on our land",

Lebanon shall not conclude a peace with him

 

Sylvan Shalom, Zionist foreign minister, hopes that "freed Lebanon from Syrian occupation will sign a peace treaty with Israel", considering that the presence of Syria in Lebanon delayed the conclusion of a peace treaty  between Beirut and Tel Aviv.

Shalom told Israeli radio concerning Beirut demonstrations "This is the greatest development that had ever taken place, it is a matter that we had been looking for". He added "I believe that a real hope for the Lebanese to be liberated from Syrian occupation, I hope that this will give it liberty and independence to start a dialogue with the Israeli state".

Shalom said: "We believe that Syria should stay in Lebanon. We have no conflict with Lebanon regarding land nor an economical conflict, the only reason for not concluding peace with us is because they are occupied".

 

"The extremists, meaning Syria, Iran, Hezbollah, Hamas and Islamic Jihad should be isolated. We should at the same time work with Egypt,  Jordan, Mahmoud Abbas and north African and Gulf states".

The Israeli foreign ministry's spokesman said: "We are following with interest what is happening in Lebanon with interfering (!!!) He expressed his hope that "Lebanon will get rid of the militias and Syrian occupation". He stressed on that Israel strongly supports resolution 1559 passed by the security Council in September 2004>

The ex peace negotiator with Syria,Itamar Rabinovitch: " Syrian withdrawal from Lebanon might have counter repercussions... Lebanon could pass in a period of instability> Syrian presence (in Lebanon) is wrongful, but it insures a basic stability".
