1-    Israel and the peace- Phobia

By returning to the Israeli documents disclosed after thirty years of classification and to the works of some Israeli neo-historians, especially Avi Shalem's "The Iron Wall", which had explored the archives of Israel's foreign ministry and affirmed the existence of ample evidence indicating the Arab's readiness for peace and negotiations as far back as September, 1948, one can clearly realize that Israel was the one to reject peace and not the Arabs. Confirming Israel's war philosophy, shalem addresses an essay of Vladimir Jabotinsky, the founder of the Zionist movement's political right wing. In his 1922 essay, Jabotinsky wrote:" the Arabs will never accept or agree on establishing a Hebrew state with a Jewish majority in Palestine.

… hence, an "Iron Wall" should be established in order to fortify Israel against any Arab attack"… Although Ben-Gurion (then prime minister) did not agree on this way of thinking, he submitted to the remarkable acceptance of this proposition among the Zionist leaders.

Shalem maintains that adopting the principle of an "Iron Wall" consisting of a superior military power makes transpiercing Israel extremely difficult, if not impossible, according to Jabotinsky. For this reason, Israel was never in a hurry to make peace with its Arabs neighbors.  The Israeli leaders' perception of their country's military and diplomatic power has always driven them toward attempting to use time in order to serve long term objectives, which encouraged them to rule out peace and never place it among their priorities. Over the years, peace turned into an Israeli "phobia-generating" nightmare, the translation of which came through the assassination of Rabin and the expression of the Israeli fear of transformation in an "Arab supermarket" because of peace.

2-    peace unleashes Israel Paranoia

Aware of its military superiority and the fact that it will always enjoy the sponsorship of the great powers, Israel sees any peace rhetoric as totally inconsistent with logic. In principle, negotiations usually come as a result of the involved parties' inability to settle the conflict to their advantage an inability which Israel refuses to admit, knowing for sure that it would have never been able to decide the outcome of this conflict had it not been for the American interference. This, in turn, makes Israel feel of a persecutive American role, while denying the positive nature of this role in terms of protecting the Israeli interest.

This perception of a persecutive role unleashes the chronic Israeli/ Jewish paranoia, which portrays any peace initiative as sheer aggression in the Israeli unconscious. Along with the "peace- phobia", this paranoia becomes much more aggravated by the Israeli demographic crisis, whereas the depletion of the Jewish "human reservoir" leads many Israeli scholars to talk about the demise of Israel. of the most important writings on this subject, suffice it to cit Yussi Belin ( a former minister of justice) in his book " the demise of Uncle Sam", where Belin expresses a need to rid Israel of its Jewishness in order to overrun the chronic paranoia, because of which Jews view other  peoples as "gentiles" or incomplete human beings! In other words, peace entails a Jewish recognition of "gentiles" in a way that would be in contrast with the Jewish "God's chosen people" myth.

3-    The reoccurrence of Jewish massacres and its relation to the chasms in the Jewish personality.

  In retrospect, any review of the recurring Jewish massacres, through history, shows that this repetition was associated with a pathologic – aggressive behavioral matrix which encompasses the Jewish approach in any relation with the "other". In other words, this behavior reflects a Jewish attempt to approach the despotic aggressor and help him in his aggression, in return for a benefit for the Jewish people.

 Consequently, Jewish massacres occur as a result of the accumulation of Jewish infringements upon weak people and the latters' uprising against the aggressor.

This recurring stereotype behavior brings us back to the studies of the "collective personality" (cultural anthropology), where Roheim – an analyst- observes that a nationalistic character must have an unchanging existence through generations, based upon the recurrence of the same childish attitude.

Perhaps the main inspiring factor behind the childish attitude – in the Jewish case- is the monopolization of the status a "superb people", as established by the Jewish (religious) teachings that sanction causing harm to the "other" and never hold Jews responsible for that, unless when the harmed people are also Jews( of the same race or religion). The accumulation of these wrongs against "gentiles" and deeming that permissible is the real generator of the recurring Jewish massacres.  here, Israel presents a tangible pattern of this Jewish monopolistic desolation, through confiscating the land and infringing upon the people, but also through the recurring aggressions against Arab peoples, as expressed by its functional role which serves American interests in this region, in spite of the fact that this role includes dominating the regions security and wealth, as well as its future and the future of the people living in it.

4-    Israeli Divisions over the settlement

Prior to the Untied States war on Iraq, world political intellectual elites held a certain conviction in relation to a qualitative change in the coming wars and conflicts, whereas these wars would become, suppositional due to the development of rights' concepts and the incrimination of the use of destructive powers to serve state interests.

This conviction was associated with presumed termination of the "policy of force" fascism. On the basis of this conviction, many Jewish theorists stood up to call for an end of Zionism, since Zionism was no more capable of going along with future developments. Along with this call, many alternatives were proposed under the name of "Post-Zionism currents", including the current of "Israeli- Neo historians". But these currents retreated to the advantage of fascist Zionism when Bush adopted the concept of preemptive wars, which brought back fascism to the lead and legitimated the use of force in order to gain might which is equivalent to power. The very concept embraced by Zionists who reject peace on the same basis. It could be said that the Iraq war pattern has reanimated fascist Zionism and awakened its expansionist ambitions and the investment of its military superiority, transforming the "road map" into one of the silly jokes that bush used to utter and reiterate

5-    Worldwide Strategic Chaos

The Republican Party agreed with a group of American strategies that the United States had gone through a period of strategic chaos during Clinton's presidency. They wondered: to what extent it would be possible to go on with Clinton's tactical policy of addressing the cases, "case by case", without a strategic view? The republicans ran for the 2000 elections with a pledge to set new strategic basis for the American policy. However, Bush's attitudes dashed any hope to fulfill this pledge, since the United States has been under the pressure of an unprecedented strategic disarray for sometime now, whereas the Afghanistan was model has not been fit for Iraq an the latter's model could not be fit for North Korea, and so on. Bush and his Hawks, notwithstanding, insist on considering the preemptive war principle a strategic and reliable one, ignoring the fact that such a principle could never be suitable to be adopted in many different cases, including the North Korean one.

Of all the components of this disarray, there is one that holds much importance: in order to maintain the advantages of its functional role in serving the U.S interests, Israel was forced to desist from taking any strategic decision (especially concerning a comprehensive settlement) under this American strategic chaos. Taking such a decision would certainly drive Israel into a critical situation that may render it incapable of meeting its required functions after the establishment of a new American strategy.

6-    Israel's Fraudulence in Negotiations: A Psychological trait.

After lengthy rounds of Arab-Israeli negotiations, it is necessary for us to evaluate- in retrospect- the course of these negotiations, with the aim of identifying and analyzing the components of the negotiation skill invested in the negotiation rounds, on many levels and with various methods of pressure. Negotiating skills are partly dependent on a nascent branch of psychology, known as the "psychology of negotiations", an assumption of which is "the psychology of conflict resolution". This branch does not constitute an independent field of specialization, but rather works on investing in and harnessing of all available psychological fields and knowledge, particularly in terms of bolstering negotiation skills, which means its extensity from the political domain to all situations that require negotiation. Hence, this field of specialization may help us strengthen our negotiation resources. But, most importantly, this knowledge helps us uncover Israel's negotiation techniques and the difference between styles of negotiation among Israeli interlocutors.

Following, we shall focus on Israel's basic negotiation techniques, ignoring nuances of interlocution on the individual level especially that the lengthy negotiation process has demonstrated that such nuances were no more than tactical details, whereas strategic objectives remain unchanged in terms of their invariable aggressive nature. In most cases, changing the Israeli interlocutor has been used as a convenient occasion to turn away from previous steps, which prompts us to trace the fraudulence trace contained in the attitude of an Israeli interlocutor. Thus, we need to introduce as scientific definition of the fraudulent personality, as a preliminary step towards a fair comparison between the "fraudulent attitude" and the "Israeli attitude".

  • the psychological state of a fraudulent person:

According to ancient Roman laws, fraudulence (or using deception and hoax to make someone give up some of his gains to the advantage of the fraudulent person) was a kind of skill. There were two types of fraudulence:

    • sanctioned deception – when practiced on foreigners ( or enemies) ; and

    • Forbidden deception- when used in dealing with nationals. Roman laws did not recognize any of the foreigner's rights. Regarding the psychological traits of the fraudulent personality , they can be classified as follows:

      • A covetous and developed aggressive personality that strives for profits, but- at the same time- avoid using violence as a tool to make the desired profits ( perhaps out of fear of law);

      • An absence of moral principles, which mean that a fraudulent person will always be ready to take every immoral course in order to achieve his goals;

      • An extraordinary capability to convince the victim;

      • Restoring to a third party ( an ally or a person being used) for help in convincing the victim;

      • Striving to know everything about the victims, so that it would be easier to entrap them;

      • Always changing the ways and tools of deception ( different faces and roles);

      • Deception requires guts and rudeness of certain types, as selling illusions depends on some kind of courage and getting the highest price for these illusions requires impudence;

      • The ability to perform deceitful roles;

      •  Rightfully choosing the victim from potential ones, and smartly exploiting the circumstances of the chosen victim;

      • The absence of any sense of guilt ( as a result of an absence of moral conscience), which provides the deceiver with boldness, enough to make new commitments with the aim of carrying with the blackmailing process;

      • A pathological aspiration, which makes the deceiver strive covetously for gains he does not deserve.

      • The skill of exploiting others, in support of the deceiver's apparent position and his ability to convince, to order to prop up may other parties to compete for the illusive gains he had promised them.

      • A fear from future- one of the deceiver's rare weaknesses. This fear legitimates the exploitation of others in the deceiver's eyes and increase his aggressiveness towards them, as he considers them enemies – who threaten and stimulate his fears of the future (especially becoming poor).

In the case of Israel, other convictions are due:

1-     "the chosen people of god" perception, which involves –inter alia- the attitude of extreme aggressiveness towards the "other";

2-     Despising the "gentiles" and;

3-     Defending each and every "Jewish" right.

As for the United States' position on the negotiation process, it seems totally consistent with the "third party's position", which the deceiver usually exploits in bolstering his claims and making the victim believe him, because lying, alone, would not be sufficient in this case, but rather it would depend – in most cases- on a promotion from a third party who comes to approve the deceiver's allegations, regardless of the real intentions of the former. The important thing is that the "the third party" must be apparently independent, in a sense that his endorsement of the deceiver's allegation may constitute an independent personal opinion and that this intervention would be based upon the imposter's effort and planning.

  • The Imposter: A psychoanalytic perspective

In her essay " The Imposter: a contribution to the ego psychological by a psychopath", Helene Deutch maintains that the world is full of such people like impostors and swindlers who chased her wherever she goes… she finds the impostor among her friends and acquaintances, but also inside herself… the impostor is a psychopath who tries to lessen the differences between the pathologically inflated ideal ego and the other part of his ego, which is especially ignoble, despised and laden with sins…

An Impostor behaves as if his ideal ego was identical to with him, and expects others to recognize this. If the inner voice of his despised ego, on the one hand, and the responses of the world outside, on the other hand, reminded him of his unrealistic ideal ego, then he will hang on to his narcissist position and desperately try- through pretension and under the evil of someone else's name- to maintain his ideal ego and impose it on the world.

A similar conflict, though of a milder nature, originates inside the sound character, as the ideal ego of an individual can not be totally satisfied from the inside. Hence, we orient our need toward the outer world, pretending that we really are what we wish to be. More often, we encounter the panoramic responses of the sound character, because the milieu has rejected such imposture.

Lionel Finkelstein views the impostor as a person who fraudulently assumes another name or identity in order to deceive other people – a kind of "patho-lier" who hopes to profit by means of deception.

Unlike the pretensions or ostentations person, who often fails to deceive people and leaves them impressed by his pretensions, an impostor succeeds, at least for a while, in dazzling his victims and making them believe his ploys. For him, playing this role is different from performing other worse pretensions, while roles manifest different forms of skill or proficiency that involves embracing a compulsory repetitive behavior resulting from untangled pathological inner conflicts.

The compulsory nature of such an attitude is similar to its counterpart in other forms of eruptive behavior which is often described as motivating. However, fraudulent deeds can hardly be considered an exact assimilation of events, in away that serves to prevent the painful recalling of events suppressed since childhood.

An impostor may or may not be a crook (a person who tricks people to plunder their money after they have trusted him), a swindler, or a psychopath implicated in criminal acts or deeds that are against the common good of society. Furthermore, many people assume the personality of a fraud in certain instance of their lives; travelers to remote places tend sometimes to use false names and also, homosexual people lead to profligate life in which they wear strange clothes and use unfamiliar names.

However, real impostors lead a life that makes them unprepared to be analyzed, unless they come to ask for help, how quickly it would turn out that their characters make them recalcitrant and incurable.

Their dishonesty, super facility, inability to withstand despair, tendency to act and deep pathological inclinations come to undermine any effort that aims to help them.

Phyllis Greenacre sees that an impostor is not just a liar, but rather a very rare kind of liars who impose on other people fabrications about their achievements, social status, mundane properties…etc.

In addition, an impostor might act this way through counterfeiting his real identity and introducing himself under a false name, or even by changing parts of his credentials, whether assumed or forged along certain along a certain imagined perception of him. Moreover, we notice, on the impostor's part, similar alleged achievements, wide- ranging impersonations, or unbelievable allegations. It seems that deception involves a certain degree of hope in terms of gaining material objects or achieving tangible benefits.

The contradiction between "real identities" and alleged identities may not be exaggerated and consequently, it would not be right to explain this contradiction according to the superficial analytic approach which says that imposture is always practiced as a mean to obtain direct benefits. Suffice it to cite a few examples that would show us how most "ordinary" impostors and swindlers are immature, through skilled, and to what extent their planning could be wrong, not to mention their real lack of prudence.

Moreover, fraudulent attitudes involve spectacular parading and a complete dependence on the victims' favorable response to deception. In some examples. A swindler may have seemed successful only because the others had- much like the actual felon- a strong inclination to believe the imposter, while any successful imposture is bound to be really dependent on strong social and individual factors and on a peculiar receptivity to deception and fraudulence. To this extent, those who were subject to imposture are not only victims, but also they were accomplices who had consciously (or unconsciously) colluded.

Based on what we have previously mentioned, one can draw the following conclusions:

1-      Both Helen Deutch and Lionel Finkelstein agreeably maintain that most fraudulent attitudes can be detected in the two realms of normality and abnormality. However, some lines of behavior among normal people may be depicted as fraudulent and pretensions, while among abnormal people, these lines of behavior assume the special pathologic property of impudence.

2-       Finkelstein and Greenacre approach the legal definitions of a swindler, whereas they maintain that an imposter hopes to achieve some benefits by way of deception. However they claim that such an attitude doe not- in fact- constitute the basic motive behind imposture.

3-      Both Finkelstein and Greenacre mention some of the characteristics of a fraudulent personality, such as: dishonesty, superficiality, inability to withstand frustrations; proneness to action; immaturity; erroneous planning; lack of prudence; exhibitionism; and the reliance on public acceptation.

4-       Greenacre accentuates the importance of the victims who often tend to believe the impostor, contributing as such to the success of the bluff.

5-      The significance of the previous definitions was confined to one type of impostors: the one who assume a certain personality and uses the name, status or identity of someone else, whether real or fake.

Although there are too many analytic studies and researches on the "fraudulent personality", analyzing the act of fraudulence – on the collective level- brings us to Froid, who studied the Jewish personalities' roguish characteristics and mentioned the false and recurrent allegations of the Jewish history. Froid indicated the Jewish imposture: their alleged lineage back to the forefathers as a mean of alleviating the recreation released against them by the local population who viewed them as invaders and colonists. He also pointed out at the psychopath paranoia of the Jewish personality.

Based on the previous presentations, an impostor is every one who gets to take over the property of others, either by imposture, or by other fraudulent ways: making people believe that there is an unnatural project or enterprise; drive them to aspire for illusionary profits; paying back money taken by means of fraudulence; implying that there is a forfeit bond; disposing of cash or real estate that belongs to others; or using a false name or status.

  • Wye- River : Around of Fraudulence

If we take the agreements as an example, we will notice the presence of a third (American) party which exerts tremendous pressures on the negotiating parties to such a degree that these pressures have driven the Palestinian all the way to accept paying whatever price required, while the Israelis have committed themselves to the same fixed concessions announced by Israel itself.

For the Palestinians, this price was too expensive, but also embarrassing to a degree that required the presence of king Hussein. In spite of that, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu did not implement that agreement, and now Barak prefers to buy more time and procrastinate the implementation. This kind of disavowal falls in the "imposture variety". Hence, it is useful to reconsider the "imposture's psychology" before applying its principles to this example:

a-     "imposture Strategy" in Wye-River:

At the beginning, it is important to indicate the stance of the third party, represented by the United States, who worked hard- aided by Israel- to keep the other supervising parties away from the negotiations. It is worth mentioning, here, that the United State's interference was determined in light of Israel's interference was determined in light of Israel's planning, most evidently verified by Barak's public demand, in a press conference for a limited American interference during the next stage.

The United States' submissive response to this demand clearly indicates its bad faith in supporting the Israeli fraudulent deeds. On the other side, clearly the Arab parties could never make such a demand and get a positive response to it.

In Wye- River, President Clinton exerted tremendous pressures on the Palestinians; in a way that embarrassed them in front of the Arab public opinion whereas calling for king Hussein (then at the last gasp) to attend the meetings was coverage for the embarrassment which encapsulated the Palestinian acquiescence to each and every declared Israeli condition.

At the same time, Clinton had to make great efforts in order to convince Netanyahu of signing an agreement that meets all the latter's conditions. Yet, what was the result?

The result was an insistence on the part of Israel on making the clause pertaining to the establishment of the Palestinian state conditional upon the agreement of all parties! This clause, in itself, meant that any advance towards implementing the agreement would depend on the results of additional rounds of negotiations. In other words, this Israeli condition rendered the agreement absolutely valueless and turned it into just another gratis Palestinian concession. Nonetheless, the Palestinians signed the agreement, but the Israelis refused to implement any of the steps set forth in the text!

To simplify this ( keeping in the mind difference between the envisioned picture and the real fact on the ground) we cite the following example: A man comes to a certain piece of land and takes possession of it ( by occupancy)… the land owner demands the restorations of his property, but the occupier refuses to leave unless on certain conditions… the land owner agrees on these conditions and pays the stated price… however, the occupier still refuses to depart the land and begins to set additional conditions, capitalizing on the land owner's submissive and incapability to restore his land.. And so on… Is not this sheer imposture? … What can we conclude from "wye- River" and the above cited demonstrative story?

Based on what we have already stated, one can conclude the following:

1-     The declared Israeli conditions are not real, but rather a mere trap to drag the Arabs agrees interlocutor in. if the Arabs agree on that, in spite of the harsh and aggressive conditions, they will only get a new negotiation process. A probative evidence of this has been the course of Palestinian negotiations in its numerous stages.

2-     Israel strives to perpetuate its ostensible role as a peace- seeking party through setting extremely embarrassing conditions in front of the Arab interlocutor; if the latter agrees on such conditions , another more embarrassing condition will await him.

3-     The role of the United States- as a third party- is not a vital one, nut rather yielding to signals issued by the Israeli interlocutor. As a result, American pressures on the two sides would neither be proportionate nor fair.

4-     The United States' direct interference in the region has filled the vacuum in the absence of the Soviet Union, which prevents Israel from acting violently. Hence the Israelis turned to investing their aggression in avaricious negotiation attitudes, embracing a temporal extortionate policy.

5-     Israel has an overwhelming information power employed in convincing the world public opinion and obtaining international consent and support. The Israelis use this clout every time they dodge the moral principles of negotiations, especially when it comes to fulfilling their commitments.

6-     It is hard to find a country that can match Israel in terms of its ability to play fraudulent roles. For example, Netanyahu was able to dodge the provisions of Wye-River agreement, claiming that the Israeli public opinion was against such an agreement (an extremely democratic and liberal excuse which no one should ever be vexed by?!). Barak, in turn, has promised to submit the results of any negotiation process to a referendum (as a confirmation of this democracy!).

7-     Regarding the favorable judgment in terms of choosing the victim, Israel began with Egypt ( with the latter's special circumstances, including the incapacity of its leaded –Nasser's successor- to fill the vacancy), then turned to other Arab countries, while maintaining a persistent concomitance of Israel's "good choice" and "patience" conductive to favorable timing.

8-     When we talk about Israel, particularly on this matter, we do not only speak of a pathologic ambition, but also of an unlimited paranoia firmly established in the Israeli literature.

9-      We came to the skill of using the parties involved and pushing them to compete for assuming the "victim's status". We deduce that the skill has always found expression in Israel's ability to disconnect the Arab tracks and deal with each one separately, after stripping it of its strategic depths.

10- The fear from future is a prominent component of the current Israeli behavior. At the same time, the United States strives to cut down its expenditures earmarked for confronting communism. Since peace makes a suitable way out for the United States, to rid itself of its financial commitments to Israel- something that makes Israel really horrified, one must consider the consequences of an aggravated contradiction between American and Israeli interests.

 What we have just stated above many comprise an unquestionable psychological diagnosis of Israel's dependence on imposture. Shameless and impudent as it is, Israel makes a contemporary manifestation of the Roman law which deprived the "other" of all rights and considered bluffing him a permissible rather than a criminal act. Perhaps the most impudent Israeli imposture is still hidden and will come out later under the motto:" Israel enjoys enough strength to impose its conditions… why should the Israelis negotiate…?"

 It is not a self- imagined idea forged by us, rather it is the idea put forward by the extremist Israelis who cast Netanyahu as a "peace dove", after they had murdered Rabin only because he dared to "touch" their "red lines". Those are the ones who threaten to kill Barak, so as to make a hero out of an impostor. The question is:"Are the Israelis ready to buy peace for such a high price?"… Or, "did Israel want peace in the first place?"…

7-    Towards a classification of the factors governing the Arab-Israeli settlement: the road map as a model.

Since "Devil lies in the details" and based upon the policy of information overflowing and deliberate intelligence leakages, we believe there is a strong need for a sober classification of the fundamentals in a way that protect us from falling in the puzzle of details. This principle stands out strongly in an "information age" controlled by "information people".

Upon discussing the "Road Map" project, we can find in this principle a steering factor at this political and economic stage, where things have become much dangerous and chaotic because of the events of the past few years. By returning to the Road Map, we aim at recording a number of "strategic fundamentals" that need to be discussed, in order to turn these "fundamentals" into steering elements that would make certain defined categories capable of taking the most precise details.

At first, we would like to list these fundamentals and, then discuss them in details beginning with:

1-     For some time, the American economy has been suffering serious crises that kept on exacerbating day after day. The capitalist world's attachment to this economy makes it as much involved as America, but also a conniver at the military treatments chosen by the Bush administration as the only solution to this crisis.

2-     The capitalist state opposition to the attitude of the Bush administration is based upon these states' desire to go shares in the "military treatments" and to acquire some kind of immunity against them.

3-     A careful review of the Republican Party's criticism of Clinton's policies would indicate the confrontational course harbored by the Bush republican Administration. Such a review is rather important to understand the Bush Administration's motives, positions and projects.

4-      The September 11 incidents have been used by the Bush administration as a pretext to participate its confrontational projects. However, nothing new happened as a result of these incidents, which mean the September 11 was innocent of the charge of changing the world.

5-     The republicans have been critical of "operation Desert Fox", describing it as a play by which Clinton had been able to avoid choosing the "Iraqi Rifle" (while President Bush has been intent on doing so). They claim that Clinton refused any intervention in the uprising, in order to keep the Israelis and Palestinians under his control during his war in Iraq.

6-     Accusations leveled at Bush, because of the wars waged by his administration on spurious pretexts and for exorbitant strategic prices, serve to promote his image as a peacemaker. The Road Map was no more than an "election mask" for Bush.

7-     Everyone knows that Bush's ability to press the negotiating parties will cease by early November (with the on set of the American by- elections) when Bush will turn into a "lame duck" (a president in his last year).

8-     Israel realizes the scope of the current American chaos and works on benefiting from this chaos. It will not submit to any kind of pressure – no matter how acute- as to making any strategic decision amid this chaotic situation.

9-     There are ideological differences between the "Bush people" (the Zionist- Christianity) and the Israelis and Jews in general. Thus the Jews brought down George Bush Sr. and gave his son no more than 2% of their votes, making the latter the most abhorrent president for Jews in the U.S history.

10- Bush is known as a dishonest man of an inherent inclination to adopt devious ways. With respect to the Road Map, he would hardly feel embarrassed in abandoning it. The same is true for the Palestinian state promise, which was supposed to be fulfilled in 2005. In the past, he had disclaimed Mitchell and Tennet plans and threw Clinton's efforts in the waste basket.

11-  Bush sees himself capable of forcing the Arabs into swallowing deadly medicaments in the mean time. He does not mind presenting them as rewards to Israel in return for its approval of his "Zionist Christian plans".

12- From the previous point ramifies the precedence of neither an American mediator nor being ostensibly unbiased, but rather implicitly aligned with Israel. This American mediator has become a party that aims at exploiting the interlocutors in order to let pass his ambitions. Hence, he wants to push things ahead towards a justification of the deployment of an American disengagement force between Israel and the Palestinians

13-  Declaring Israel a Jewish state was but an unprecedented American mine. It does not only mean an Israeli chance to displace Arabs from the territories occupied in 1948, but also a return of American Jews (Uncle Sam) to Israel. If they were to resist the complete assimilation into the American life style- the beginning of Bush's revenge upon the American Jewish lobby and its influence.

14- In spite of these threats, Israel still refuses to take any strategic step that may place it now in a situation which would be against the U.S interests in the future, especially with the prospect of strategic American overtures of a dramatic nature.

15-  The organization of the Iraqi resistance would cause Bush to burry the Road Map and turn again to the Iraqi file.

16-  The Palestinian Authority's bet on the Road Map is hopeless. However, it involves much temptation, including the succession of Arafat.

17- The medicaments prescribed by the United States to the countries in the Middle East are very effective. However, they kill the patient. Iraq was killed such medicaments and we must protect the rest of the Arabs against these brutal treatments.

18-  In spite of what we have just mentioned and the total lack of confidence between Bush and the Jews, one can not overlook the fact that a tactical understanding could get Bush a higher percentage of Jewish votes in return for a prolongation of Sharon's terms as prime minister and/ or turning a blind eye at a large scale Israeli (military) operation.

19- The international neglect of Syria in the ongoing negotiations indicates that the United States was never serious in its effort to achieve any positive step towards the end of the next American elections.

20- Israel bets on an unprecedented American connivance at its aggression against the Palestinians. This bet is related to the eruption of an Iraqi resistance that could be very painful for the Americans, especially if it were concurrent with the elections in the United States.
