An Inevitable Introduction

The Zionist policy of terrorism as carried out by the terrorist organizations and secret systems has been the most bloody, racial, ideological and systematic form of terrorism ever experienced by man, either before the establishment of Israel or afterwards. Even though man has experienced terrorist operations that have led to the annihilation of certain races and nations, these operations are nowhere near the magnitude to that suffered by the Palestinians during the past 50 years.

The Standing Equation for the Last 50 Years

This equation has two sides: the first is the well-organized, armed Zionist organizations, which were supported by the British even before the establishment of Israel. This illegal country has now become a storehouse for all manner of weapons of destruction, extending from Palestine to the U.S.A. Furthermore, the right to use them, as Israel sees fit, is under the protection of the U.S.A., and the world community at large. On the other side of the equation are the Palestinian people, who have been on the receiving end of a continual series of terrorist attacks and genocide, which aims to annihilate all those Palestinians who have survived this war to date, and who are now participating in the Intifadah. The Palestinians have also succeeded in crystallizing a national programme of struggle, which aims to achieve their right to self-determination, as well as to ascertain their national identity. This is the state of things despite the unbalanced peace process, which has been imposed on both the Arabs and the Israelis by the superpowers.

Furthermore, the evident truth is that Israel was established by force using terrorist procedures, including deportation, murder and the general annihilation of the Palestinian people. To further justify this continued state of affairs, the Zionist-controlled Western mass media has created the 'Islamic terrorist' (1). The Western mass media, throughout the years, has played a significant role in reversing the truth, making the criminal into a victim and vice versa (2). Furthermore, Israel has recruited a large number of agents in the academic and information domains in order to market its terrorist philosophy (3). The reality of history shows that the Arab regions had not previously experienced any form of terrorism until the establishment of Israel, whose leaders were professional terrorists (4). Terrorism is undisputedly connected with Zionism and is wholly evident in the practices undertaken by the Zionists in Palestine (5); these principles have been taught to the Israelis from an early age and applied officially by the successive Israeli Governments (6).

The Political Ideology of Zionist Terrorism

Based on this steadfast ground, we can see that the Zionist's political ideology has been an extension of the "ghetto" societies, which have produced the mentality of conspiracy, racial malice, and the adoption of the terrorist ideology. It went on to produce the idea of God's Chosen People, who are seen as being superior to all other races. Professor Yesrael Shahak, a Jew who is against the Zionist ideology, says, "Judaism has deepened the peculiarity and racialism of the Jews" (7), while the Jewish Talmudic laws have discriminated between the Jews and the other races; the extremist religious radicalism present in Israel supports and promotes these attitudes, especially amongst the Israeli soldiers (8).

Since we do not understand the religious, Talmudic, racial and Jewish ideology of Zionism, we should emphasize that this ideology has developed greatly since the Zionist conference, which took place in Basl in 1897, and through the Protocols of the wise men of Zion, both of which are replete with terroristic and racial terms, especially from Hertzl, the spiritual leader of Zionism (9). This ideology has developed through time and has been shaped by events as experienced by its leaders and theorists. These men have established various terrorist organizations and systems so that eventually the philosophy of terror has become a matter of policy for Israel (10). For example, Balfour said on 11 August 1919, "We have never thought of having any type of consultation with the Palestinians, or even taken the effort to know their desires"; this implies that terrorism became the adopted policy of the Zionists at a later stage. This has been emphasized by the comments of the Zionist leaders, "Terrorism is our only means against our foes when they take actions intending to get rid of us" (11). This had also been mentioned in the founding Protocols: "The Zionist fighters have to horrify and frighten the Christians, and indeed all people whose religions go against Judaism" (12). In 1940, Osteshken, the Zionist writer, wrote about the necessity of establishing the future lives of the Jews in Palestine, which meant, by necessity, the establishment of the Jewish State in Palestine by force through confiscating the land or purchasing it through whatever means were deemed necessary (13).

After the First World War, Jabutensky pleaded for the establishment of a Jewish State in Palestine in order to make the migration of the Jews easier. Thus, little by little, the Jews began to become the majority and consequently began to take the land by force. It was mentioned in Wiseman's diaries, Trial and Error, with regards to the situation in Palestine in 1914, "We can see that there has been a moral degradation of traditional Zionism, which has been replaced by militarism and terrorism, both of which cooperate with all that is evil in order to realize the national State of Israel" (14). David Ben Gurion shed light on the outlines and policies of Zionism, which emphasize the need to use force and violence in order to realize its goals, when he said in his book, The History of Hagana, published by the Zionists in 1954, that "It is obvious that Palestine belongs to the Jews, just as England belongs to the English, and Egypt belongs to the Egyptians, and so we must deport all the Palestinians."

Menachem Begin also emphasized this opinion in his book, The Revolution, published on 28 October 1956, when he said, "The Israelis ought not to be lenient or merciful when fighting their foes so that they destroy the so-called Arab culture…" (15). Begin also boasted about the terrorist practices of his terrorist organization "Al-Atsel", established under a legal cover (16). In addition, Moshe' Dayyan, the Minister of Defence in 1973, said, "I could not imagine the establishment of the Jewish State without removing all the Arabs; we do not need to seek their permission to do so, because otherwise we will never be able to establish our State" (17).

The Psychology of the Policy of Zionist Terrorism

The above mentioned statements by prominent Zionist personalities are just a few examples of the attitudes to this terrorist ideology, which show that the real motives and notions of the Zionists, especially those of Yitzhak Shamir and the Leftists, is to spread terrorism all over the area of Palestine and beyond. The political, ideological and social motives of the Zionists' use of terrorism have been documented and translated in a number of books, studies and Protocols, which have revealed and crystallized the psychology of the Israeli community after the establishment of Israel. This psychology has tended towards violence, racialism and terrorism, all of which have dominated the practices of the army, the Mossad, Al-Shabak, and indeed the entire State (18). Professor Yesrael Shahak said in relation to this psychlogy that "The military leaders of Israel are ready to capture all the resources of the Palestinians by force, and this has been practised by the Israeli oligarchic militarism" (19), which resulted in all the Palestinians suffering from a continual policy of massacre, persecution and deportation.

The Central Role of the Rabbis

The rabbis play a significant role in the Zionist and terrorist psychology and ideology through their roles in the schools of Palestine or through the Jewish settlements situated all over the country. If we refer to the Israeli syllabuses or to the official attitudes taken towards the Palestinians, we see that the ideas of these rabbis are a very important basis for this philosophy of terrorism. It is noticeable that the ideas of the rabbis urge the terrorists to carry out even more crimes and massacres against the Palestinian people, such as the massacre at the Al-Ibraheemi Shrine (20). They also work to prevent the Israeli Government from giving the Palestinians any chances, as dictated in the document signed by more than 250 rabbis in 1997, which banned any delivery of land to non-Jews by the Israeli Government (21). Moreover, they have encouraged the racial policies practiced against the Palestinians, even though the Jewish ideas and notions had already been effective in this area.

"Israel has never denied its racial policies against others, but rather it is considered to be a characteristic of the Jewish identity and its traditions" (22). It is obvious that the seeds of this racial ideology and its manifest terrorism are evident in the Talmudic religious schools present all over the occupied territories.

A Place Under the Sun

We must pause here to take a look at the work of Benyamin Netanyahu, A Place under the Sun, which represents the most dangerous magnet of the Israeli terrorist State. This book reveals the intended eventual outcome of the religious, political and terrorist ideology of Zionism. Dr. Fayez Rasheed says in his book, The Forgery of History, which is a reply to Netanyahu, "According to Netanyahu, the Jews all over the world can dream of their homeland in Palestine while the Palestinians are not allowed to go back to their own homeland from where they have been deported by force" (23). He added that the Israelis put emphasis on erasing all things relating to the history of Palestine and its people, and to find substitutes by force (24). He added, "The psychological warfare, the genocides and the destruction of more than 500 houses have been the most constant methods used by Zionism to deport Palestinians" (25). He also said, "Netanyahu has forged and slaughtered the history of the Palestinians by turning black into white and vice versa through systematic deception" (26). Furthermore, that "The extended history of Cana'anite Palestine has also been assassinated by Netanyahu who has changed Palestine into the Israeli Promised Land of the Jews" (27). It is noticeable that Netanyahu believes comprehensively that his dreams can only be achieved through the use of force, and that only through this means can the Jewish State truly dominate the entire area (28).

The Means of the Zionist Terrorism

All the political, ideological, rational, Talmudic, and systemic Zionist and Israeli preludes and starting points emphasize that bloody terrorism is essential for racial Zionism. Thus Zionism employs all its financial and organizational potential, including the land of Palestine itself, on an international level. There are many terrorist systems and organizations, some of which existed even before Israel was established, while others were established thereafter. As this issue has already been well documented, we will only briefly survey the prominent parties.

Prior to the Foundation of Israel in 1948

The terrorist organizations worked intensively before Israel had even been founded, and they used all the means available to commit some of the most atrocious acts of terrorism.

1. Al-Hagana (29). This is the shortened name of the secret, military, Jewish organization; it was established in Tiberias on 12 June 1920 by a number of Zionists, namely David Ben Gurion, Levi Ashkoul, Moshe' Dayyan, Yitzhak Rabin and Shimon Perez, among others. Several terrorist acts were carried out by this organization with the support of the British in 1920, 1929 and 1948.

2. Al-Atsel (30). This group was established in 1937 as an army-run organization; it is an abbreviation of "Argon Tesfa L'Israel. It is separate from Al-Hagana, and was set up by Jabutensky, Menachem Begin and David Wazyal. It was responsible for the perpetration of several massacres, including Deir Yassin, and King David's Hotel on 22 July 1948. It was eventually disbanded and its members joined the Israeli army.

3. Leihy (31). This group was established by Abraham Steiron in 1940 as a faction of Al-Atsel; it was led by Yitzhak Shamir. It carried out a number of terrorist operations, including the assassination of Lord Mowein on 6 November 1944, the bombing of the Arab saraya in Jaffa, and the assassination of Count Bernadout on 17 September 1948. It was disbanded in 1948.

After the Foundation of Israel

The successive Israeli Governments have continued with the same terrorist plans and programmes, but they have become more systematic and more dangerous, due to their ownership of all the modern weapons and the latest devices of persecution, under the authority of the Israeli army, the Mossad, the Shabak (the General Intelligence), the terrorist organizations, and the whole entity of the terrorist State of Israel (32). Finally, a great deal of bloody terrorist practices have been carried out by these various organizations against the Arabs in general, and the Palestinians in particular.
