The
criminal applications of the Zionist ideology on land
According to the impetus of all the
political, ideological and psychological preludes of Zionism, as based
upon the protocols of the wise men of Zion, the Zionists under the
patronage of the 'Balfour Promise' and the protection of the British
Mandate forces, have established various terrorist organizations. The
Israeli Government has continued to follow this policy, and to this end
has committed a variety of vicious and bloody crimes of which the
following are but a few examples, genocide, destruction, assassination
and racialism, as well as the continual war waged by Israel, under the
protection of the Israeli army, against the Palestinians. We stress that
the terrorist practices, which are described below, are in strict
accordance with the protocols upon which Palestine was chosen to become
the new Jewish State of Israel, and which necessitated the murder and
deportation of the original inhabitants. During the course of this
paper, we will aim to shed light on the essence of the Zionist ideology,
and the terrorist practices it has conducted in Palestine.

1. The
Horrific Genocides
As various documents have ascribed, the terrorist organizations of the
Israeli Government have been trying to realize the objectives of Zionism
through the capturing of the land, deportation of the original
inhabitants, and massive campaigns of genocide to force the people to
leave their land. Many of these crimes took place in 1948
(1),
some of which are listed below:
· The massacres of Al-Sheikh and Hawasseh, located southeast of Haifa,
on 1 January 1948; on this day 200 armed men attacked the two villages
and massacred all their inhabitants.
· The massacre of Nasseredeen, a village near Tiberias, on 13 April
1948, when the Jews entered the village, disguised in Arab dress, and
massacred all the people.
· The massacre of Beit Darayes, a big village east of Gaza, on 21 May
1948, when the Israeli army attacked the village and massacred all the
people.
· The massacre of Deir Yasseen, a village near Jerusalem, on 9 November
1948, when terrorists belonging to the organizations of Argon, Steirn
and Hagana entered the village and massacred 300 people out of its
population of 600; 250 of the victims were buried in a mass grave.
· The massacre of Al-Dawaimeh, located southeast of Hebron, on 29-30
October 1948, when Moshe' Dayan, leading a battalion of 89 soldiers,
entered the village and murdered 96 people, many of whom were
defenseless woman and children.
· The massacre of Ailaboun on 30 October 1948, when 12 young Palestinian
men were murdered.
· The massacre of Safsaf, in Galilee, where 52 Palestinians were tied up
and thrown into a well.
· The massacre of Al-Lud, on 11-12 July 1948, when approximately 250
people were gunned down in the village mosque and church.
· The second massacre of Al-Lud where 350 people were massacred and the
rest were deported.
· The massacre of Safad, where the forces of the Hagana organization
murdered 70 young men.
Such wanton acts of murder also occurred prior to the 1948 establishment
of the State of Israel, including:
· On 6 July 1938, the Al-Atsel gang detonated two vehicles in Haifa's
market, 21 were murdered and 52 were injured.
· On 14 July 1938, a Jewish settler threw a bomb into a vegetable
market, 12 Arabs were killed.
· On 15 July 1938, the Zionists exploded a bomb in front of a mosque in
Jerusalem, 10 were killed and 30 were injured.
· On 26 August 1938, a vehicle fitted with an explosive device was
detonated by the Al-Atsel gang in Jerusalem, 34 were killed and 35 were
injured.
· On 27 February 1938, the Al-Atsel gang detonated two large bombs in
the town of Haifa, 27 were killed and 39 were injured. Several smaller
explosions caused many additional victims
(2).
· The notorious bombing of the King David Hotel, where some of the
offices of the Palestinian Government were located, on 22 July 1938, 41
Arabs, 28 British, 5 Jews and 3 people of other nationalities were all
killed (3).
The policy of genocide has continued even after 1948, with various
terrorist actions being carried out by the Israeli army, border guards
and members of the intelligence division, in various Palestinian
villages including:
· The massacre of Qebyeh (4);
Qebyeh is 22 kilometres northeast of Jerusalem and covers an area of
16,504 dunums with a population of 2,000. The Israeli forces entered the
village on 14 October 1953, and in the following 32 hours 600 soldiers
surrounded the village; they destroyed 56 houses and killed 67 people,
often wiping out entire families.
· The massacre of Kufr Qassem
(5); this village is located south of Tulkarm
in the 1948-occupied area. The Israeli soldiers attacked the village on
the eve of the Triplet Aggression on 29 October 1956; they murdered 49,
including 14 females (12-14 years old), 11 children (12-16 years old),
and some men.
· The massacres at Sabra and Chatila
(6); between
16-18 September 1982, thousands of Palestinians were massacred at the
refugee camps of Sabra and Chatila in Lebanon. The massacres were
committed by the Lebanese battalions and the Israeli forces led by Areil
Sharon, the Minister of Defence, and Rava'eil Etan, the Chief of Staff.
It was reported that between 3,000-3,500 Palestinians of varying ages
were slaughtered, although some unofficial Palestinian sources reported
that the total number of victims was closer to 12,000.
· The massacre at Al Aqsa (7);
this was perhaps one of the most horrific and pre-meditated massacres
committed by the Israeli forces; they attacked Al Aqsa on 8 October
1990. A group of Muslims had tried to stop a band of Jewish extremists
who were trying to lay down the foundation stone of their claimed 'Haykal'
at the Holy Shrine. The Israeli forces interfered, killing 21, injuring
800 and arresting 350.
· The massacre at the Al-Ibraheemi Shrine in Hebron
(8); this was
one of the most dispicable and cowardly crimes carried out by the
Israelis. Israeli terrorists opened fire on Muslim worshippers, shooting
them while they prayed, prostrating to Allah. In just nine minutes, the
Israelis murdered 24, and injured hundreds of others. This cowardly
massacre of defenseless worshippers caused great outrage amongst the
Palestinians and as a result several confrontations took place between
the Israelis and the Muslims in the following days.
· The massacre of E'youn Qara
(10); on 20 May 1989, seven Palestinians were
shot down by an Israeli soldier, causing extreme indignation among the
Arabs all over Palestine.
· The massacre of Bahr Al-Baqar
(11); this act of genocide took place against
the Egyptians when an Israeli aircraft bombed a school in Al-Sueis
killing tens of students.
· The massacre of Qana (12);
on 18 April 1996, the Israeli forces, directed by the Israeli Prime
Minister, Shimon Perez, bombed a United Nations shelter in Qana,
Lebanon. More than 100 civilians were killed, the majority of whom were
women, children and the elderly. Unofficial sources estimated that the
number of dead was closer to 500.

2. Comprehensive
Deportation and Destruction
The Zionist organizations have carried out of a series of brutal crimes
to facilitate its policy of a comprehensive deportation of the
Palestinian nationals and the destruction of Palestinian towns. Aloan,
the military chief of the Al-Palmach organization stated on 10 May 1948
that, "There is a pretext to clear out the Arabs from the area of
Galilee and to establish a Jewish region there, by deporting tens of
thousands of Arabs who remain in the area"
(13).
There is a great deal of Jewish literature which propagates the
deportation of the Arabs and the destruction of their homes-ideas which
have clearly been adopted by the government of Israel.
Facts and Data
Evidence of these events has been revealed in a study by a researcher
from Palestine, conducted in 1948, in which he says, "I think these
facts are signifigant and show the reality of Zionist procedures to
destroy the houses and deport the people." The Palestinians are the
rightful owners of this land. They do not have any other country; they
have been born and raised on this land, and they had reproduced, built
and planted on the land, before the first ship of migrants ever arrived.
There can never be any other substitute homeland for them. The
Palestinians have always been the majority, but as a result of the
Israeli conspiracy, they are now a minority in a State which does not
recognize them as people who have civil rights, rather they are
considered to be outsiders and strangers who have no right to be there.
The Jews destroyed 478 villages out of 585, leaving only 107 villages
standing in 1948; in this year they also deported 780,000 Palestinians
as refugees, while in 1967 they deported a further 350,000. As a result
many Palestinians have become refugees in their own homeland, a fact
which has been compounded with the brutal raids conducted by the Israeli
forces against the Palestinian camps.
The Israelis did not only deny the Palestinians their rights, they also
accused them of being ungrateful to other nations, as well as being
against peace. The Palestinians woke up to find themselves a minority in
a Jewish and Zionist State, which, as a matter of policy frequently
declared by its leaders, refuses to accept the presence of strangers (Goueem).
The Zionist State considers the very existence of the Palestinians to be
a historical mistake committed by Zionism, which cannot even be
rectified by the practice of genocide, such as took place in Kufr Qasem.
However, it remains a dream of the Zionists to deport 700,000
Palestinians whenever it is possible, or through the action of
exchanging villages and nationals. The majority of Israelis prefer the
policy of deportation with regard to the Palestinians, which they have
been working to achieve day and night, while the minority accept the
existence of the Palestinians, but only as inferior, peaceful, docile
and obedient subjects.
The Israeli forces have carried out a definite policy of genocide, which
is evidenced by the massacres at Deir Yasseen, Kufr Qasem and Al-Jeftlik,
which also resulted in villages such as Safouria and Looba, becoming
areas ruled by the philosophy of Aparthied. In addition, they destroyed
the Arab economic base and used the Palestinians as a cheap manpower
resource. The Israelis have attempted to prevent the Palestinians from
receiving an education, thus keeping them illiterate. Furthermore, they
refuse to recognize the Palestinians as a separate nation, rather they
see them as a minority, made up of various tribes. The failure of the
Israelis to remove the Palestinians completely coupled with the
Palestinians' rapid population growth rate has led to the introduction
of the demographical ban, which aims to further Judaize Palestine, 50
years after Israel had been established.
Racialism is an official policy practised daily by the Israeli
Government and all official government departments. Persecution and
racialism are apparent in the procedures, both open and secret, of the
Zionists. Despite this, the number of Palestinians remaining in Israel
has risen from 160,000-initially seen as temporary residents-to
approximately one million. The Israelis destroyed the Palestinian
agricultural industry, forcing 77% of the Palestinians to become workers
in urban industries. They attempted to make them illiterate but there
are at least 9,000 university gradutes, 35,000 high school students and
5,000 university students, all of which evidence the failure of this
particular Israeli policy. The policy of destroying the houses belonging
to the Palestinians, and the overt racialism and chauvanism practiced by
the Jews, clearly showed to the world that Israel was far from being the
democracy that it claims to be. The Palestinians have remained on their
homeland fighting for their rights day and night, declaring that they
are a unified nation, and that they have no substitute homeland.
Furthermore, they are determined to participate in shaping the future of
their country, declarations to that effect that have, from time to time,
been emphasized with strikes exercised by the Palestinian community
(14).

3. Land Judaization and Confiscation
With regards to this matter, documented surveys have revealed the
following:
1. The
number of Arabs has increased 4-fold, while their land has decreased
16-fold, they own 4% to 5% of the land, even though they are close to
being 50% of the population. In complete disregard to this, the
Judaization of the area of Galilee continues.
2. The
ratio per capita went down from 9 dunums to 1 dunum in Um Al-Fahem, from
9 dunums to 0.6 dunums in Al-Taibeh, from 13 dunums to 0.6 dunums in Al-Teereh,
and from 14 dunums to less than 0.8 dunums in Ein Mahel.
3. In
order to make it easier to confiscate the land, Israel has legislated
several laws, these include the introduction of the law of 'The Estates
of the Absentees' in 1950. This was introduced after the Israeli forces
captured 350 villages covering an area of 3.25 million dunums, including
80,000 dunums planted with orange trees and 20,000 dunums with fruit
orchards. Under this law all the estates of those who left Palestine
between 19 January 1947 and 1 September 1948 were confiscated. In
addition, the Israelis captured the estates of the Al-Awqaf, which made
up approxiamtely 6.5% of the land of Palestine and whose revenues were
spent on Muslim affairs. Furthermore, the Israeli forces excavated the
Muslim cemeteries and the mosques, after they had bought them through
suspect deals, in order to build skyscrapers and other such facilities.
Another such law, "The Great Leveling", was passed to enable the Jews to
capture the land more easily. Up until 1964 this included 42 villages
covering an area of 30,000 dunums, with an additional 10,000 dunums
being added during the period 1965-1966. With the Judaization of the
area of Galilee, thousands of dunums were appropriated, 4 million out of
5.5 million dunums were taken from Al-Naqab; the Government captured a
further 800,000 dunums from other areas, 82,000 dunums were captured as
a result of the peace treaty between Israel and Egypt, which allowed for
the establishment of military airports, and 625,000 dunums were taken
from the area of Galilee itself as of April 1964.
4. The
Arabs were left with a total of 500,000 dunums over the entire area of
Palestine, which was a total of less than one dunum per capita, in
reality, tens of thousands of dunums from this land was dedicated for
public utilities such as schools, mosques, markets and industrial
complexes.
5. Israel
annexed 148 blocks from the land of 16 villages to the Mesgaf regional
council, and threatened the land of several other villages, such as Al-Makr,
Al-Rameh, Nahef, Tur'an, Al-Reineh, Ein Mahel, Exal, Um-Al-Fahem, and
the villages of the Valley of Ara among others. It is interesting to
note that the Israeli laws authorize the Government to capture public
land, which was dedicated for the use of the public utilities and was
registered by the authority of the British Mandate. The Israelis clearly
consider themselves to be the only legitimate heirs to the land, a
belief given further authority by the fact that there are no Arab
authorities
(15).
Dr.Waleed Mustafa, a researcher, says, "62.6% of the Palestinian
villages were destroyed by the Zionists, 598 villages before 1967, which
is 78.4% of the total number"
(16). He added, "The established sites in
Palestine totalled 755 in 1931; 472 were destroyed in 1948; they
included 52,812 houses and 338,428 people"
(17).
In the light of this, we can see that destruction and deportation have
been the basic Israeli procedures used since 1948. This is confirmed by
the Israeli Professor Shahak when he states, "It has been the most
significant point for Israel since 1948, and it is a belief that is
evident in almost every book and pamphlet taught to the students, and
shown to the tourists, that this land was vacant, without people."
6. In the
West Bank and Gaza, the Israelis followed the same policy of destruction
and deportation; in 1967 in particular the Israeli forces carried out a
long programme of destruction and deportation against the people,
destroying the areas of Yalou, Emwas and Beit Nouba southwest of
Ramallah. These atrocities were personally led by Moshe' Dayyan and
resulted in the deportation of 500,000 Palestinians and is considered to
be yet another disaster that has taken place since 1948
(18).
This policy has been carried out by the Israeli forces all over
Palestine, especially in Jerusalem, where thousands of houses were
destroyed (19),
and thousands of people were deported
(20). According
to the Israeli Bet'salem data, the Israeli forces have destroyed "More
than 1,800 houses, leaving 10,000 Palestinians homeless during the last
ten years" (21).
Moreover, the Israeli forces have confiscated 240 dunums, destroyed 197
houses, and killed 20 Palestinians during the last year
(22). It added
that the Israeli forces have destroyed more than 600 houses since
Benyamin Netanyahu took office as the Israeli Prime Minister, and
hundreds of homeowners were warned to leave their houses, which had been
designated for destruction (23).
Consequently, terrorism has been the official policy and practise used
by Israel to capture all of Palestine.

(Part 2)
Assassinations, exterminations and other terrorist
activities conducted by the Mossad
The policy of terrorism as adopted by
Zionism, which has become apparent through several bloody and horrible
genocides, has been continued by the State of Israel through its various
governmental systems and forces. A continuation of such a policy is
evidence that the Zionists have an unsatiable thirst for the blood of
the Arabs, indeed for the blood of all non-Jews, and will continue to
have until they achieve their objective of a pure world for the Jews.
The force of terrorism has never abated, with genocide and massacres
being committed day and night, as we saw in Part 1. Thus Israel is truly
a terrorist State. To make this clearer, we will now cite the terrorist
practices of Israel, which have been carried out either openly or in
secret.
Perhaps one of the best ways to
understand this policy of bloody terrorism is to read the book The
Sacred Terrorism of Israel, by Levia Roukah, an American Jewish writer.
This work is perhaps the most significant and serious book ever written
about Israeli-Zionist terrorism; the author depends upon the diaries of
Moshe' Sharet, the first Minister of the Interior of Israel who
classified the State as, "One of the most terroristic countries"
(1). In
addition to disclosing the Israeli terrorist plans to occupy Syria in
1954, he revealed a series of terrorist actions carried out by Al-Mossad
in Egypt, and some other Arab countries led by the terrorist trio of Ben
Gurion, Moshe' Dayyan and Lavoun. Under these men, Mossad destroyed
various centres and institutions in Egypt, and generally urged the West
to take actions against Egypt
(2). Another important book is The Revengers,
by Parr Zouher, which discusses how the members of Mossad assassinated a
number of German scientists in the 1950s and 1960s, as well as a number
of the PLO leaders in Ferdan and Tunis, including such personalities as
Abu Eyad, Abu Jihad, Mohammed Yousuf Al-Najjar, Kamal Nasser and Kamal
Udwan (3).
Unfortunately, the scope of this paper does not allow us to cover all
terrorist activities undertaken by the Mossad Agency throughout the past
decades, but we will point out that the basic system of Mossad depends
ultimately upon the policy of exterminating the prominent politicians,
military leaders, thinkers and strategic scholars. This system operates
in absolute secrecy, even the name of its chief was not known until last
year when Israel was forced to disclose his name
(4). The Mossad
organization consists of various systems, which include experts in a
variety of fields, who are also professional killers, such as
physicians, engineers and lawyers. They work in the countries
neighbouring Israel, along with a number of secret agents who try to
tempt others, especially women
(5). Victor Astrovsky, an ex-agent of Mossad,
said that the agency works in Libya, Lebanon and Jordan, as well as some
other countries. He added that they had developed biological warfare
capabilities by experimenting on the Palestinian captives
(6). A book
called The Secret Wars of Israel, by Eyan Black and Beiny Morris also
revealed the activities of Mossad, including its role in the air raid
against Anteiby airport in Uganda, the secret operations to move the
Jews by air from Morocco and Ethiopia, and the stealing of the designs
for the French aircraft "Mirage" among others
(7). The two
writers say, "Mossad has become more effective than the other terrorist
organizations through its operations which have not been designed and
carried out by Israel only, but by Zionism." These operations include
the kidnapping of Adolf Angeman on behalf of all the Jews, not only
Israel. Another operation carried out by this system was the kidnapping
of the Jewish nuclear engineer, who was tried and sentenced to 18 years
imprisonment because of his betrayal of Israel. Furthermore, the Prime
Minister, Yitzhak Shamir gave his orders to kidnap Victor Astrovsky
because he had disclosed the secret activities of Mossad abroad in his
book, By Way of Deception (9).
Misha'al's Cause
This has been one of the most
prominent scandals of recent terrorist activities conducted by Mossad,
for Jordan in particular and the whole world in general. A member of the
Mossad agency tried to assassinate Mr. Khaled Misha'al, the head of the
Hamas political office in Amman, on 26 September 1997. This operation
was carried out using a forged Canadian passport and the latest chemical
warfare weapon invented by Mossad. This attempt on the life of Misha'al
caused extremely indignant reactions at all levels and spoiled the
relationships between Israel and Jordan as well as Israel and the
Palestinian Authority. It also caused international repercussions
against Israel, but Israel did not care about these negative reactions,
including the repercussions on the peace treaty, or its Jordanian
relations. This became increasingly clear when the Israeli Government
announced that these operations would continue, as evidenced by Areil
Sharon, the Minister of the Infrastructure, when he said, "We will go on
until we assassinate Misha'al wherever he is"
(10). This operation is still in the minds of
the Israelis, whose Government went on to carry out further operations,
such as "Hamer Night" in Oslo, where they destroyed a night club and
killed Ahmed Busheiky, who they thought was Hassan Salameh. Another
agent was able to assassinate Mr. Najy Al-Ali, the Palestinian
cartoonist and writer in November 1997; the agent was later arrested and
deported to Israel. The Embassy of Iran in Cyprus was also attacked on
24 April 1991 (11).
In addition, the Mossad operatives were able to install reconnaisance
equipment in the Embassy of Iran in Switzerland as well as in other
places. Consequently, the secret and bloody terrorism of Israel has been
among the most dangerous activities conducted in the Middle East, in
particular, and the world in general.

Zionist Terrorism
during the Intifadah
While outside the borders of
Palestine the secret terrorist operations conducted by Mossad are
against specific individuals, the activities of Mossad inside Palestine
are taken out against all Palestinians all over the country. Thus we can
see that the war waged by Israel against the Palestinians is
comprehensive and total. This has been the case since the Zionists
occupied the West Bank and Gaza in 1967. Their activities have included
the following: mass deportation, murder, destruction, genocide and
massacres, security sieges, land closure, and economic and educational
punishments. The most widespread practice has been the malicious
racialism, which has been carried out against the Palestinians, and
which is evidence of the ongoing struggle for the land. Below we will
discuss a variety of the terrorist practices carried out under the
Zionist policy of terrorism (12).
1. The
first target was the dignity of the Palestinians, which the Zionists
worked to destroy through the murder, torture and extermination of many
of the Palestinian's dynamic and prominent leaders, thus humilitiating
the Arabs and destroying their morale.
2. Since
the beginning of the Intifadah, thousands of Palestinians have been
arrested; sources indicate that more than 400,000 Palestinians have been
arrested, and thousands more have been deported without reasonable
cause. In order to secure such large numbers of prisoners, many new
srongholds, jails and prisons have been built, such as Ansar 2, 3 and 4;
Beitounia; Al-Thaheria; and Majedou among others.
3. As a
collective punishment, thousands of houses were destroyed, which aimed
to force the Palestinians to stop the Intifadah. For example, they
destroyed 3,000 houses all over Palestine during the Intifadah, citing
security reasons or the failure to obtain building permits as the
justification for this policy.
4.
Concerning the freedom of the press and speech, Israel has prevented the
Palestinians from expressing their opinions, even through pictures or
posters, because these always urge the people against the State of
Israel.
5. The
Israeli forces banned all gatherings, meetings or activities held by the
professional and labour unions, as well as the activities of social
movements.
6. Freedom
of religion has also been severely restricted, and many of the holy
sites, all over Palestine, have been violated with the implementation of
security checks and closures, while yet others have been destroyed
altogether.
7. The
Israeli forces have severely restricted the freedom to travel from one
place to another.
8.
Political freedoms such as self-determination have also been violated
due to the fact that such rights go against the interests and objectives
of the State of Israel.
9. The
terrorist practices of the Israelis have included the comprehensive,
racial, religious, linguistic and social discriminations against all
Palestinians.
10. With
regard to the economic, educational and cultural punishments, the
Zionists have closed schools and universities, thus depriving the
Palestinian children from the right to education. Other practices have
been levelled against the Palestinian economy with the aim to make it
entirely dependent upon Israel for its survival.
These are the most prominent terrorist practices undertaken by Israel
against the rights of the Palestinians. These go hand in hand with the
brutal murders of women, children and the elderly by the Israeli forces
during the Intifadah, as well as the policy of crushing the
Palestinians' bones, as planned and executed by Yitzhak Rabin, the
Minister of Defence at that time. Overall, the vast number of crimes
against the Palestinians has resulted in a great number of victims,
research undertaken by the lawyer Najeeb Zayed showed that there were at
least 4,000 appeals taken against the State of Israel during the
Intifadah
(13); even so,
this number is just a small percentage of the crimes committed by the
Israelis during the years of the Intifadah.

The
Dangerous Role of the Specialized Execution Teams
The special units such as 'Samson',
'Dubaduban' and the execution teams formed by the Israeli army, played
an important terrorist role during the Intifadah. The Israeli General
Intelligence department 'Shabak' also played a prominent role, in
addition to the special forces, with regards to the recruitment of a
large number of agents and spies, who worked to gather information about
the leaders of the Intifadah, which then organized their assassination
or kidnapping (14).
In this paper, we will only be dealing with the general role of the
above-mentioned forces, rather than the specific details relating to
these special units.
The newspaper Christian Science Monitor stated that these units planned
to murder all the Palestinians, not only the leaders of the Intifadah
(15).
Other reports showed that the members of these units were ordered to
murder the active leaders of the Intifadah, not to arrest them
(16). A
specialized military source showed that 90% of the Palestinians who had
been arrested during the Intifadah had been captured by these
specialized units (17),
while the Christian Science Monitor emphasized that the Israeli soldiers
were often disguised as officials from the United Nations in order to
frighten the Palestinians (18).
Another report by the Palestinian Centre for Human Rights showed that 90
Palestinians had been murdered by these units in 1990, while another 70
Palestinians had been murdered in 1992
(19).
Furthermore, these units had carried out 29 secret murder operations in
1991 (20).
A serious Israeli report showed that these units had carried out 1,040
terrorist operations in the period between October 1991 and March 1992,
when 250 Palestinians had been arrested in Gaza
(21). A study
prepared by the Palestinian Informatin Centre about human rights showed
that at least 90 Palestinians had been murdered by these forces from the
time they were established in 1988 until March 1991
(22). These are
just a few examples of the terrorist and criminal practices conducted by
these units of the Israeli army, despite the peace treaty.
It is remarkable that the Israeli forces have deployed these units,
which are in addition to the other forces called the "Secret Death
Groups", in spite of the peace negotiations. A report on 3 August 1997
showed that, "Israel has already started to deploy the secret groups of
death to cause hunger, seige and mass punishment in the Palestinian
towns" (23).
The Assassination of Ayyash
It was during the peak of the Israelis' bloody terrorist campaign, and
in spite of the peace process, when Engineer Yahya Ayyash was
assassinated by the secret military and terrorist units on Friday, 1
March 1996. The bombing of his vehicle has been considered as one of the
most serious and bloody exterminations carried out by the Zionists
during the secret wars (24).
The Israeli security establishment celebrated this operation as a great
success, despite the fact that Hamas exacted their revenge on the Jews.
The Assassination of Al-Sharif
In a continuation of this savage
terrorist campaign, Engineer Muhiyyedin Al-Sharif was assassinated
towards the end of March 1998. The Israelis denied responsibility. It is
evident that these units have no regard for any of the peace treaties or
conventions (25).
A
State of Terrorist Settlers
(26)
It is not an exaggeration to describe
Israel as a State of terrorist settlers, because the Jewish settlements
in the West Bank and Gaza are full of weapons, and they are used as
bases from which the terrorists can carry out their operations against
the Palestinians, as well as from which they can pressure the
Government. Many of the terrorist operations are planned at these
colonies and are then executed under the protection of the Israeli army
and the security departments. The actions of these terrorists have
caused a great deal of suffering among the Palestinians, one of the most
famous of which was the massacre at the Al-Ibraheemi Holy Shrine, which
was carried out by the terrorist settler Goldstein. Finally, we
emphasize that the Israeli Government continues to practice and supports
these practices of terrorism and persecution against the Palestinian
people through its various branches, including the army, the
intelligence, Mossad, and the special units, as well as through the
entire entity of the terrorist State of Israel. The terrorist policy of
Israel is conducted at all levels and is an ongoing policy that is only
likely to escalate over the coming years, despite the efforts for peace.
It is our intention to continue to reveal the reality of the State of
Israel and its policy of pre-meditated terrorism, as well as its
complete disregard for the peace process, in future works.
